Palisade Wineries and a Sunset!

On Sunday, March 11th, the weather was a little chilly, so we decided to go to the wineries after church. Unfortunately, wineries are out of season, so many were closed on Sundays. We thankfully were able to get a map and other people told us which ones were open.

We started at Carlson Vineyards Winery where we had the most amazing peach wine.

Then we went to Plum Creek Winery and Meadery of the Rockies. At Meadery, all their wines are made from honey bees! It was absolutely delicious and they ship to NY!

We stopped at Red Fox Cellars and ended at Garfield Estates Vineyard and Winery where we bought a bottle of dessert wine.

After wine tasting all day. We came back to the apartment and grabbed food to take to Bangs Canyon to watch the sunset. On my way out from Mica Mines a few days prior, the sun was setting and I saw plenty of places to park and watch the sunset. Nicholas and I watched the sun go down with a bottle of wine and chips with hummus. When the sun finally set, the stars were sparkling and shimmering.

It was a great ending to our wonderful day.
