I usually organize this list according to places to eat and places to grab drinks. Almost every brewery we went to, they had amazing food! So here are some of the places we enjoyed!
Chaang Thai Restaurant - This is located in Morgantown! Try the Boba Tea!
Fruition Bowls and Brews - Located in Morgantown. By far the best Acai bowl. Almost Heaven Desserts also has them, but they did not live up to this place!
Get Fit Juices and Shakes - Also located in Morgantown. This was right next to Planet Fitness. A great spot to stop after the gym with Aaron's brother Brad!
The Derby - The Derby is a dive bar in Fairmont that was only a few blocks from us when we were renting at Kate's house. We ended up only going here twice, but the food was always good!
Gibbie's Pub & Eatery - This was the first place we ever had pepperoni rolls! Located in Morgantown. If you're looking for the original pepperoni rolls, go to Country Club Bakery in Fairmont. That is actually were it started! I will say, gas station pepperoni rolls are also very good and most of our auction home renovation trips were fueled by a pepperoni roll.
JAG Burger Beer Bowery - If you're looking for a greasy burger in Fairmont, look no further.
Muriale's Italian Kitchen - Well, of course this is on here. This restaurant is in Fairmont and almost anyone that visited us ate here or got take out! Can't go wrong with some pasta!
Short Story Brewing - Probably our favorite place in Fairmont. It is technically in Rivesville, but it isn't far. The food was always good and the drafts were delicious! We will miss it here.
Mountain State Brewing Co - Our third favorite place to eat which is just south of Fairmont in Bridgeport. Delicious beers, cocktails, and food! Also, a dog friendly patio!
The Rambling Root - These pictures do not do justice! This is our second favorite place! This is located in Fairmont. Delicious food and beers!
Dairy Creme Corner - Well Duh! This is a Fairmont staple! Do not order anything bigger than a small!
Starport Arcade and Pub - This is located in Morgantown. A perfect place to check out on a rainy day!
Draft WV - This is also near Planet Fitness in Morgantown! Great food and cocktails!
Winnie's - This is located in Bridgeport, just south of Fairmont. All their food is good. I went for lunch and also for breakfast! They have amazing smoothies and they sell cocktails.
Pies and Pints - This is the Fayetteville location. There are multiple locations in WV though! Be ready to wait if there is a game going on as this place gets very busy. Worth the wait and be prepared to take home left overs!
Tudor's Biscuit World - Also multiple locations in West Virginia and I believe a few other states. This is like a fast food place, similar to Culver's I'd say. The food is great and cheap!
Cheetah B's - Located near Petersburg, WV. We went here when we hiked Chimney Rock. We highly recommend this local spot and the staff was very friendly.
McAteer's - This is located across from Fairmont Medical Center! We went here after our Chimney Rock trip. This place is delicious!!!! Hole in the wall kind of place, but aren't those always the best?
Apple Annie's - Located in White Hall, about 5 minutes from Fairmont. This place is delicious! Breakfast is great, lunch is great, and we took home a pie once and that did not disappoint!
These are just a few of the places we went to and of course, where I took photos! There are tons of places to eat in Fairmont, but just like everything else in West Virginia, you have to find them!
