Siesta Key

Following our fun adventures in Fort Myers Beach. We headed up to Siesta Key to continue our vacation. We stayed at an AirBnb about 5 minutes from Siesta. Uber is key to get there. Driving around Siesta is crazy and trying to find a parking spot is even worse. We started off by going to Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar where none of us got oysters, but the food was great!

That night, Aaron, one of the travelers I mentioned in a previous post, and his friends met up with us and we all went out in Siesta Key. One of our co-workers from Syracuse was also in town and he met up with us as well!

The following morning we made breakfast and sat in our pool area.

Then we headed to the infamous Siesta Key Beach!

It was very crowded and the walk to get to the water was surprisingly far! There was so much sand and area to walk. That night Aaron and I went to see the sunset while the girls were getting ready.

We all headed to Daquiri Deck so the girls could try some of the delicious drinks I always send them pictures of. We got ice cream that night and a few more drinks before heading in for an early night

The next morning we hung out at the pool area chatting and mostly laughing about all of the memories we made on the trip. We packed up our stuff and headed out. Since their flight was later in the day, we stopped at Fat Point Brewing Company to grab a few local beers and food. Then we went to Fisherman's Village where we were asked, "Is this you girls drunk? Or are you this fun sober?". We all laughed and said, "This is us completely sober". The woman laughed, as did we.

Sadly, then I had to drop off my girls at the airport, but thank goodness I get to see them in less than a month!
