On Saturday of our week in Aruba, Chelsea, Rob, Vanessa, and Chris headed back to the states. It was so sad to see part of our group leave and realize this amazing vacation was coming to an end.
Brad, Lauren, Ruby, Blake, Sahriah, Aaron, my dad, and I all headed over to Palm Beach and rented tubes. We floated in the ocean until the sun went down.
Since my dad missed out on the sunset sail, I wanted him to see at least one sunset!
Anthony and Jina went on a little side by side excursion since they were not in Aruba for the Jeep Tour. When they got done we all met at Garden Fresh Cafe. On the way there we saw an I Love Aruba sign!
Garden Fresh Cafe was delicious and has lots of options for those who are vegan! It was so fresh and after having fish everyday I was ready for some fruits and veggies.
We went to a little bar to have some draft Balashi! It is a local beer in Aruba.
After this we checked out the shops. There are so many local places to buy things and a lot of fake sunglasses. I came home with probably 4 pairs of fake sunglasses!
On our way back to our airbnb, we stopped at MooMba Beach Bar & Restaurant.
Everyone made fun of me for my tripod, but I'd say that picture came out pretty nice! We could hear the music coming from the restaurant so we went to check it out...
Next thing you know we were there dancing until 1am! We all said we better start walking home because we all needed to get up the next day and fly back to the states. On the walk home, we made a few pit stops.
The next morning we packed up our bags and said goodbye to our amazing Airbnb.
Brad and Lauren stayed 2 blocks away and reserved their Airbnb for an extra night so they wouldn't have rush to pack up for the airport. We all headed over there to drop off our bags. Then we walked to Eduardo's Hideaway. This was a recommendation from our Airbnb host and it did not disappoint.
We relaxed at Lauren and Brad's Airbnb until it was time to leave.
The Aruba airport can take forever! If you have a checked bag, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes just to check in. Thankfully, flying first class made us priority so we were able to skip the lines! We all met back up in the airport and relaxed until it was time to board. A few of us were on the same flight!
First class, once again, did not disappoint!
This trip to Aruba was absolutely AMAZING! We are so happy how it turned out. Many of our friends and family were meeting for the first time and if you didn't know that, you would've thought everyone had been friends for years. We are beyond thankful for such loving, caring, adventurous, and beautiful people to be part of our lives. We can't wait for this group to be reunited at the wedding! Stay tuned for another post of all Go-Pro footage!
