Aaron's Family Visiting

A few weekends ago we had the pleasure of spending time with some of Aaron's family who lives in Kentucky. Since they all are college football fans, we took them to Basic City Beer Co. to watch football while we played corn hole and ate food. (Here's a few pictures from another time we visited Basic City)

Following there we went to the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the sunset.

The next day we went to the Fall Foliage Festival Art Show on Main Street. Most of downtown Waynesboro was blocked off just so people could go and enjoy all the local vendors. A few of us went to Green Leaf Grill, but there were food trucks as well. Later on we went to Blue Mountain Brewing company.

There are tons of places to sit and hangout at Blue Mountain Brewing Company, so we brought playing cards to play Nertz, a game Aaron's parents played when he and his brothers were kids. We enjoyed sitting outside playing cards until we all got hungry. We went to Heritage on Main Street, a place we had never been to and everyone seemed to be happy with their meals.

The next day we went on a hike that Aaron and I checked out the week prior to them visiting, Dripping Rock South. It is a short and simple hike and I think everyone enjoyed it.

For dinner, we went to Mill Street Grill in Staunton. They had a delicious crab bisque on special that we could not resist.

The next day, they sadly had to leave. We were so happy they were able to visit us and see how beautiful Virginia is!
