Living in Albany, I have heard only good things about Troy and how it is an up and coming city! Chelsea and I decided to drive up there and walk around. Parking is somewhat difficult, but we found a spot and went to a little place called Jean's Greens. We found lots of different herbal products including tea, lavender spray, handmade soaps, and more!
We walked around and found a wine store that has all organic wines shipped from various places around the world. We got to try a little bit and it was delicious. The man working there recommended that we check out Little Pecks and Pecks Arcade. Little Pecks is a cafe that has a really neat outdoor patio that can be covered over when it is raining or opened up when it is sunny.
We couldn't resist and had to buy a pastry and sit on the patio. Peck's Arcade is a vegan restaurant connected to it that had a very old school feel and was really nice. After walking around there, we found the church that "Uncle Sam" was a trustee at!
There are tons of bars in Troy to check out. Chelsea and I decided to go to Brown's Brewery which I had heard only great things about. We enjoyed how you could sit outside on the patio with the Hudson River flowing next to you!
Troy also has a huge Farmers Market on Saturdays all summer long and there is exercise activities in the park on Sunday mornings too. Such a cute little city to walk around!
