Even during this pandemic, Lake Havasu City is the place to be on the weekends...as long as you like hot weather and water. The lake is filled with boats, boats that cost more than the condo we just bought. 4th of July weekend is even crazier! The channel is roughly 2 miles long and on the 4th of July, you could not find a place to put your boat or just hang out by the water unless you went out there to reserve your spot at 6am! Thankfully Blake and Ruby took one for the team and set up a tent for us to hang out at all day!
We were out there from probably 10am to 4pm and were thankful we had our floppy hats and sunscreen!
Blake's friend and his girlfriend came too which was so fun! After that we headed to our condo where Aaron made his famous chicken wings and we watched the fireworks from our balcony.
About a week or so later, Mikey invited us out for an evening jet boat ride.
We went up to Topock and had some dinner and headed back. Sadly, this was one of our last times all hanging out since Ruby accepted a new travel assignment!
We always have such a fun time out on Mikey's jet boat and are so glad we all were able to hangout before Blake and Ruby left!
