One of the other travelers and I decided to go for a little tourist day around the area. We previously had been to Naukabout Brewery and Taproom which had a relaxed local feel. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal so we couldn't enjoy the corn hole and games outside.
This day we went to Cape Cod Potato Chip, and were disappointed to find that is it closed for construction until June 17th! So we have to make our way back another time. We then decided to go to Nauset Lighthouse which is located in the Cape Cod National Sea Shore and is the lighthouse everyone notices on the chip bag! We were also able to see the Three Sisters Lighthouses.
You can even walk down to the beach!
The John F. Kennedy memorial is also something you must see while being in the cape. Along with the memorial there is a museum about JFK!
We then checked out Cape Cod Beer! We were surprised to find they have a list of their beers and cookies to pair! Instead of wine and cheese or crackers, beer and cookies... genius! If you like Stouts, pair it with a chocolate chip cookie! Amber ale? Pair it with oatmeal raisin!
Then we went to the opening night of the Chart Room in Cataumet which isn't far from me. Dinner was delicious as were the mud slides and sunset!
